Happy New Year! My lady love and I have a New Year's Eve tradition of sorts, which we've done both times that we started the year in Chicago: Make a dinner reservation for 11:30pm at the Ruth's Chris steakhouse, and start the year off right with a New York Strip, served up sizzling hot with the juices seared in and a giant helping of mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it.
