Not a bad start for the new Wednesday games!
Joss finally lost it, and everybody has a pretty good understanding why.
Kasper is now out of the picture. However, Dark Eagle and Trina T. are now
IN the picture. I'll post bios as soon as I get them (HINT, HINT).
We also had some heated rules discussions (after the game - thank you), and we'll see how they affect the game in the future.
Best wishes go out to the victims, survivors, and rescuers of the disasters in New York and D.C.

The last game was pretty straightforward. The team decided to go to the last known location of the cylinder that Joss delivered to Ripley. Unfortunately, by the time they got there, a small battle was going on between some streetpunks and some dark-skinned men wearing shades, earbud radios, and very nice suits. Blue decided to come around the backside while the rest of the team joined the fray. Blue put his CQB skills to test while Hazzard mowed down the suits with the machine gun in the back of T-Bone's van.
After everything was said and done, all the suits laid dead, only one streetpunk survived, and the cylinder was absent. However, Kasper got some information...
MAJOR CHANGES have occurred.
I had some discussion with some of the regulars, and it was decided to move games around. The Thursday night game is still cycling GMs. Marty is now running D&D EVERY Sunday. And CyberPunk is now officially every Wednesday at 5:30. The results are good and bad.
First the bad.
We lose some players.
It makes me sad that it had to happen, but hopefully the good outweighs the bad.
The good news is four-fold:
I'm lookin forward to the new game.
One last thing: props to Pete and Jeremy for offering their help and assistance with game stuff. You guys rock!

Another tense game!
We picked up where we left off with T-Bone's van meeting up with Mr. Johnson and company in an underground parking garage. Blue felt that the mission was in jeopardy with Kasper witnessing the whole thing, so he knocked Kasper out after a quick scuffle. Dash made some command decisions and decided to keep Kasper in custody until things simmered down. Kasper, of course, was opposed to this and tried fighting it every step of the way. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson still wanted the cylinder Joss delivered to Ripley. Ripley didn't make it through surgery, so their best bet was to go back to Ripley's shop and hope to find it. No such luck. At this point, Kasper was definitely chomping at the bit and Dash decided to let him go, pretty confident that they could find him again if they needed to. Eventually everybody, Kasper included, meets up with Mercury back at a safe house. Mercury, knowing that Kasper's supplier Ripley was deceased, offered Kasper a deal he couldn't refuse...
I apologize that the website hasn't been formally updated in a while. Here's what I recently put up:
Game Date 05/20/01:
Any game you blow stuff up in is a good game!!!
Quick synopsis: The Screamsheet reported that the "Blank Plague" has a weakness. Mr. Johnson, knowing that a delivery was made to the Combat Zone, wanted the delivered package and the recipient. Hazzard remembered Joss made the delivery to the ripper doc Ripley. Mr. Johnson then charged the team with retrieving Ripley and the delivered item. The team went to Ripley's and walked in on Ripley and Kasper Ramius finishing a deal. Mercury spoke with Ripley and was about to drag him out when everyone heard a whining in the distance. Everybody leapt to action, Mercury tranqed Ripley, Law grabed the limp body, and everybody headed to the van (T-Bone's) as an AV droped into view and deployed four black ops. Everything erupted in a hail of gunfire. Blue got both feet tapped and Mercury danced through the rain of bullets. Dash backed the van up enough to get everyone else into the van fairly safely and then screeched off with the AV in hot pursuit. The chase lasted a while with T-Bone's van taking some heavy damage. The chase came to a exciting conclusion when Blue took aim and placed a .357 round into the AV's electrical system. It's lights flicked out and it dropped from the sky, cartwheeling through a row of parked cars, and bursting into a fiery plume.
I apologize. I felt the game was a little sloppy.
We still have some issues with the rules. I posted the rules online in PDF format. E-mail me if you need the file location.
Here's a quick survey: Based on his combat performance, what should Kasper's nickname be?

Good game, gang!
VERA BLUE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!
Unfortunately, she was a little crabby. You would be too if someone stole
your body and replaced more than half of it with combat-grade cyberware.
Fortunately, Joss neutralized her, and Fil deactivated the nasty little
thing that would have blown him, Joss, and most to the Nostromo to
smithereens.
And with that, Fil is retiring.

Kudos to Brian, Pete, and Tony for showing up.
They ran an actual mission; "more rock and less talk", as Jason would say (score: Home Team: 3 boats, 10+ pirates, Away Team: a handful of sailors). Dash, Hazzard, and T-Bone were contacted through the regular channels to meet with a Mr. Johnson at the Yenishehir Palas Oteli, a shesha bar on the East Side. He hired them for security detail aboard a cargo ship carrying an "important" shipment. They were airlifted to the ship and successfully repelled an assault by three pirate boats. Although the op. wasn't as "clean" as Mr. Johnson would have liked, they still earned 1000cr. each. They each also earned a Fame and Fortune point, Brian got two.
Thanks for showing up guys!

According to Datafortress 2.0.2.0, "New Tokyo - this site shows a lot of promise, lets give them a 6 as an incentive to keep it up." Seeing as Deric Bernier rates "cool" sites a 7 (out of 10), I'm pretty happy. Also, I don't know long ago we were rated, so we may have improved since then.

First, Tom, Jan, Brian, and Jason L. played civilians in an experimental diceless role-playing session, re-enacting the Apato Slaughter reported in ScreamSheet No. 10. It was interesting and refreshing, but the general conscensus was that it was disappointing already knowing the outcome of the session. Still, we had fun and some background information was fleshed out. Pete showed up just in time to find out how Hazzard's sister died.
Then, Jason S. showed up and we picked up our regularly scheduled game. Everybody, apparently still in the spirit of the diceless session, decided to follow up on the death of Hazzard's sister. In the process, Fil managed to make a conection to a piece of data that's been haunting him from his first hardcore hack.
Also, Amy showed up with some information that put the game on hold. Generally, it's considered poor form to upstage the GM, but she'll slide this time...
[I'll make her (and her friend) play next time...]
